Light a Candle
JOELO, Linda Ann Ponsbach It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Ann Ponsbach Joelo announces her sudden passing from a heart attack on Wednesday January 1st, 2020 at the age of 59 years. Her mother was Aase Ponsbach and her Father was Stig Ponsbach; A native of Glenview IL, Linda attended IIT University and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and then worked with several Chicago and Milwaukee design firms. Linda served on the board of the Evanston’s Women’s Club and was chair of their outreach community providing many needed services for the Evanston homeless. Linda had recently begun documenting the plight of the Chicago area homeless through her “Homeless In America” YouTube Channel. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 27 years, Aarne and her children, Carina and Solana. Linda will also be fondly remembered by her Sister Caroline Mead and by sister-in-law Margit Joelo. Linda's true kindness and her heartfelt caring, concern and love for her family and friends will be forever missed.
